Robin Eissler is President and CEO of Jet Quest, Inc. Robin founded Jet Quest in 1999 with her father, Don Richards. She served as Vice President until 2014, when she assumed the role of President and CEO. Under her leadership the company has tripled in size, and in 2016 she was recognized by the Austin Business Journal as one of Austin’s Top 50 CEOs.
She is an active member of the sales team and has completed hundreds of millions of dollars in aircraft transactions over her twenty year career. Robin’s main sales focus is our Client Driven business, working with high net worth clients to achieve their aviation goals. Her client list includes celebrities, Forbes 100 Billionaires and many small business owners.
Robin is an active advocate for the business aviation industry and is the founder and President of Sky Hope Network, a business aviation flight charity. Her successful coordination efforts during the business aviation relief effort after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the earthquake in Haiti in 2010 developed her leadership and deepened and broadened her contacts within the industry. She was also the co-chair of the 2012 and 2013 NBAA Leadership Conferences and is also a Certified Aviation Manager (CAM). She currently sits on the NBAA CAM Governing Board. Her expertise covers a broad range of aircraft types and she is experienced in a variety of aircraft management, tax and operational issues.
Although no longer an active pilot, Robin holds a Private Pilot license. She is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University where she studied Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Robin and her husband, Trevor, have three children.
Don Richards is the President Emeritus of Jet Quest, Inc. Don and Robin co-founded the company in 1999, and he served as President until 2014. Don is an active member of the sales team and continues to bring valuable insight based on his 40 years of experience in the industry. His background as an aircraft dealer is valuable in assisting clients with acquisitions as investments. With over twenty years of focus on King Airs and Citations, his product knowledge is a great resource for our clients. Don’s current focus is on the Citation CJ2 market. He is also based in Georgetown, Texas.
Don is an ATP rated pilot with over 8,000 hours of flying. He enjoys spending his spare time with his two Sheltie dogs (named Barnes and Noble) and cruising in his RV with his companion, Pam.
Ben Dow joined the Jet Quest sales team in 2015. He is based in Syracuse, New York and covers the northeastern United States. Ben focuses on the Citation Sovereign and Citation X and has extensive experience selling large cabin aircraft. He is a second generation aviation professional and was formerly the Director of Aircraft Sales at FirstFlight in Elmira, New York. Ben is a graduate of Ithaca College where he played football and earned a degree in communication. Although not a licensed pilot, he has enjoyed many hours as a copilot. Ben and his wife, Shannon, have two children.
David Bailey joined the Jet Quest sales team in 2015. He is based in our Georgetown office and covers Texas and the surrounding states, focusing on the Citation Bravo and CJ3 fleets. David is a former Apache helicopter commander and a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Prior to joining Jet Quest, he led a sales team providing medical equipment in emergency situations and enjoys combining those time-critical and calm-under-pressure skills with his life-long love of aviation. He recently passed his FAA Private-Pilot written and is working on his fixed-wing rating. David and his wife, Ashley spend free time on Lake Austin with their non-swimming dog, Finnegan.
Dustin Walker joined the Jet Quest sales team in 2014 as a Market Analyst and recently moved into the role of Sales Representative. He covers the southeastern United States and focuses on the Citation 525 series. Dustin is working towards his private pilot license and is an avid aviation etatnthusiast. He is a graduate of the Ohio Peace Officers Commission and previously worked for the Department of Homeland Security. He is based in our Georgetown, Texas office. Dustin and his wife, Brittani, are building their first home.
Kandi Spangler joined the Jet Quest sales team in 2017. Based in Denver, Colorado, she covers the western central United States and focuses on the Citation Ultra, Encore, Encore+ and Latitude models. Kandi has over twenty years of aviation experience, including both sales and operational roles for companies such as Netjets, The Air Group and JSSI. Most recently, Kandi was Vice President of Aircraft Sales for JetBrokers. She is Vice Chairman of the Colorado Aviation Business Association (CABA) and has been an advocate for other groups including the regional NBAA Access Committee and the Chicago Area Business Aviation Association (CABAA). Kandi is an instrument rated pilot and earned a Bachelors in Aviation Business Administration from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 1999. She is an avid skier, hiker, and biker in the Colorado mountains with her husband, Shannon.
Skylar Norris joined the Jet Quest sales team in 2015. Starting as an intern while attending college, she worked her way into a Market Analyst position and then into sales. She is now the Sales Representative for the midwestern United States, and she focuses on the Citation 560XL series. Skylar is a graduate of Texas State University where she earned a degree in business and sales, and she currently is working on her Private Pilot license. Skylar and her husband, Tim, have a newborn baby, their first.
Tim Norris, an Australian native, joined the Jet Quest sales team in 2016. He is a Sales Representative in partnership with Norris Aviation. Tim oversees the Citation CJ4 market and focuses on the western United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Australia. His experience with long distance aircraft ferrying and international transactions adds value to our international clients. Tim has been working in the sales profession since 2012 and is a second generation aviation professional. Tim and his wife, Skylar, have a newborn baby, their first.
Cheryl Blatz, Director of Client Services, is based in our main office in Georgetown, Texas. She joined our team in 2015, and her primary role is managing the administrative side of our aircraft transactions. Cheryl oversees all the details from contracts to closing and also completes special projects as required by our clients. She was a former Assistant Vice President at PNC Mortgage, a DE endorsed underwriter, and is a second generation aviation professional. Cheryl and her husband, Lee, share their house with their dogs.
Glenn Watson joined our team in 2016 as Director of Marketing and Technical Services. An acclaimed air-to-air photographer whose work has been featured in Flying Magazine, Popular Mechanics and Airshow News, Glenn’s main role on our team is to tell the visual story of our airplanes with incredible photography. Glenn has had the honor of flying and photographing the US Navy Blue Angels, USAF Thunderbirds, and the Breitling Jet Team. When not looking from behind the lens, Glenn also oversees our listed aircraft audits and IT systems. He is a native of Austin and holds his private pilot license. Glenn and his wife, Nadya, have three children.
